I’m amazed at how quickly I got support and I’m overwhelmed with the support I received from Fortalice
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your ongoing support – we couldn’t do this work without you.

Thank you so much for your support.
From 1st November our general donations are currently on hold as we prepare for the festive season, due to limited storage in refuge. For any Christmas donations please complete our form below and the team will get back to you.
For any financial donation enquiries, please contact us on fundraising@fortalice.co.uk
Thank you so much for your continued support
How the donations are used
Most donations, including clothing and shoes, will be given to the women and children in refuge as they come with little in the way of personal belongings. Some donations are offered to families through the Outreach Support Centre who may be struggling financially. Any donations that are not used in this way maybe used to raise vital funds for our ongoing work. The financial contributions help us maintain and develop our services in the refuge and wider community.
Donations such as arts and crafts supplies are used in the Relaxation Sessions within the Refuge.

Vinted account
We’ve recently launched a Vinted shop to help raise vital funds for our services.
For any donated items that aren’t needed by our residents right now we will utilise by selling the items on our Vinted page, with all proceeds raised directly supporting our work. Your generous donations are truly making an impact!

What people have to say about Fortalice…
Really impressed with the service and it’s nice to know it’s out there for those who need it
Fortalice service helps make a difference to families and helps them get support at a crucial moment
The outcome would not have been so positive without Fortalice’s help and support
Volunteering on the Early Intervention Project has been a great opportunity for me to be involved in offering support to individuals suffering any forms of domestic abuse. The project is a great way to be there for people at the first instance. We are able to discuss services that are available and give the support individuals need. I’ve felt the project to be a great success. It is rewarding when you feel you have helped someone who is in need and not aware of the services that are there for them.
I have found volunteering very rewarding. I really feel I make a difference to families and the feedback received has always been very positive. Families always say how nice it is to have a follow up visit and know someone cares and is there should they need further support
The year I have spent working with the Early Intervention Project has shown me that it provides a vital service. The feedback from visits has been overwhelmingly positive. It is a privilege to be part of such an important project which makes such a difference
